Ministers' Wives and Widows Ministry
President:
Carol Brown Smith
Purpose: Coming together in the Spirit of Christ, providing prayerful support to one another, lifting up corporate prayer for our Pastor and his family, the Ministerial staff, our husbands and their ministries, and our family unit.
To provide spiritual leadership and guidance for all ministers' wives and widows, accepting the call to visit the sick, shut in, and the support of the total ministry that God has ordained for all Believers and Followers of Christ.
Activities: Nursing home sick visitations, Madison Association, 5th District Ministers' Wives and Widows Ministry and support of the Youth of Israel Baptist.
Goals: Maintaining unity, peace and love for all -- striving to demonstrate the Christ-like Spirit as ministers' wives, widows and women of good.
